DropSol
DROPSOL GROUND-MOUNTED SOLAR PANEL SUPPORTING STRUCTURE
DropSol is one of the most recent achievements of the innovative engineering work of FLINS. The system developed in response to the unique need of one of our customers enables ballasting in ground-mounted projects which was already proven in our flat roof mounted solar panel supporting structures. Thus, DropSol is an optimal solution in any installation conditions whether it is a rehabilitated area, concrete, flat terrain or uneven ground. The name selection reflects this universal nature, the ’dropability’ of the product at any location.
FLINS products have always been well-known for their easy installation, but DropSol takes this to a new level. You need only 2 wrenches and 1 Allen key to assemble it lightning-fast, so it can be installed in a seamless way with a small staff, without expertise or e.g. a ladder. As the anchoring is carried out with weighting, there is no need for ground screw driving or pile driving machines.
DropSol is universal, not only under different ground conditions, but also in terms of solar panel selection: it is suitable for the support of solar panels of all sizes available at the market, from small 1700-mm panels to 2500-mm giant panels. Levelling option also increases flexibility, with which soil unevenness can be eliminated, and the system can be installed reliably and economically on steep terrain too.
TECHNICAL DATA
- Raw material: special-quality steel, in a hot-dip galvanised design;
- CE marking and static design adapted for the Hungarian wind and snow loads and optimised with respect to both ballasting and structural aspects;
- Low structural design, therefore the panels can be mounted, maintained and cleaned easily;
- The default setting of the angle of inclination of the modules is 20°, but there can be a 5-6° difference in both directions;
- Some of its parts are assembled with the well-known and well-established FLINS elements;
- Levelability (by a total of 275 mm in 25 mm increments);
- Its ballasting has been optimised for 40x40 concrete slabs, but other solutions can also be realised. We make a weighting plan developed with modern types of software, tailor-made for the given project;
- A guarantee of up to 15 years.
ADDITIONAL CHARACTERISTICS
- Can be disassembled and reassembled at record speed, so it is an excellent choice for ’mobile’ projects as well;
- Can be transported and stored easily, and in the case of 1134-mm panels (e.g. 1x5 arrangement) it can also be distributed in unit packs;
- Can subsequently be extended easily;
- 100% developed and produced by our company;
